Ashley Tisdale Works On Her Craft
Beyonce?s "4" Track List Revelation
Her fans can?t wait for the new album 4, and Beyonc Knowles has been revealing the names of the tracks one-by-one each hour today.
The ?Crazy in Love? singer has been getting great feedback from her loyal following, many of whom have been tweeting their excitement.
Of her influences on the new record, Beyonce confessed the list is long, distinguished and somewhat eclectic.
"I listened to a lot of Jackson 5 and New Edition, but also Adele, Florence and the Machine, and Prince. Add in my hip-hop influences, and you can hear how broad it is. I also gave myself more freedom to really belt out some songs and bring soul singing back. I used a lot of the brassiness and grittiness in my voice that people hear in my live performances but not necessarily on my records."

Diddy Is A 'Hands-Off' Record Label Boss, Gorilla Zoe Says
Atlanta MC talks to MTV News about his June 14 Bad Boy release, King Kong, which features Gucci Mane, T-Pain, more.
By Rob Markman
When someone mentions Bad Boy Records, you think of Sean "Diddy" Combs. The label CEO and chief producer has made his presence known on almost all of his label's releases, whether he's contributing beats, lyrics or his over-the-top ad-libs ("thought I told ya that we won't stop" or "take that, take that"). So when MTV News asked Gorilla Zoe about Diddy's involvement in his upcoming Bad Boy release, King Kong, we were surprised to hear the mogul was falling back.
"He's hands-off right now," the Hood Figga told us. "I'm hands-on this project, I'm working."
The album — set to drop June 14 on Block Ent./ Bad Boy — is Zoe's third solo affair. Although he came in the game as a part of the unapologetically street rap quartet Boyz N Da Hood, Zoe began to branch out with his 2009 single "Lost." Rather than weave his usual trap tales, on "Lost," Zoe sang in Auto-Tune of his deep-rooted paranoia and questioned his place in the world.
On King Kong, GZ says he's exhibiting even more growth. "King Kong, immaculate album. Sonically, the diversity and the demographics of it is widespread; anywhere from the hood, the trap, to Europe. That's crazy demographics; especially for me," he added.
For much of his career, Zoe has worked independent of the Bad Boy founder, who hasn't appeared on or produced any of his two previous albums, and this time out is no different. Mostly, Zoe has been following the guidance of Block Ent. CEO, Russell "Block" Spencer. In the studio, however, it has been the rapper leading the charge. "Block does his CEO thing, but musically they letting me do my thing," Zoe said.
"King Kong features Gucci Mane, T-Pain and Yo Gotti and will boast beats from Zaytoven, Drumma Boy and newcomer Sonny Digital, who Zoe said produced roughly half of the album. Zoe's first single, "Twisted," features Lil Jon and, for now, no Diddy.

'X-Men' Star Jennifer Lawrence Was Intimidated By 'Gorgeous' Rebecca Romijn
Actress talks to MTV News about taking over Mystique role in 'First Class' prequel.
By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Josh Horowitz

Sports Illustrated swimsuit model and actress Rebecca Romijn pioneered the big-screen portrayal of Mystique, the blue-skinned, shape-shifting baddie, in three "X-Men" films. For 20-year-old Oscar nominee Jennifer Lawrence, who was tasked with taking on a young version of the mutant for the upcoming prequel, "X-Men: First Class," Romijn's performances might have proved helpful — if it weren't for one small thing.
"It would have made my job a lot easier if she wasn't the most gorgeous person in the world," Lawrence laughed in a recent MTV News interview. "I was like, 'Really?' "
"It was good because you can take physical traits, but it's an origin story so it's before she became who she is," she added.
Romijn's statuesque example wasn't the only thing that initially kept Lawrence, who won critical plaudits and Oscar and Golden Globe nods for her turn in "Winter's Bone" last year, from taking on the comic book adaptation. As she put, "It was a brainer."
But she gradually came around to the idea after going back and watching the first three "X-Men" films before her audition, diving into the script and hearing which other actors had been cast.
"It is huge, but the movies are fantastic and I watched them and became a huge fan," she explained. "After reading the script, I really loved the script and I loved the character and I was already a fan of the director, [Matthew Vaughn], and I was already a fan of James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender, so then it became a little bit more of a no-brainer."
Do you think Jennifer Lawrence will make a good Mystique? Tell us in the comments!

Britney Spears Drops Official 'Till The World Ends' Remix
New track with Nicki Minaj, Ke$ha follows leaked version, plus Brit tweets single's cover art.

The "Till the World Ends" Femme Fatale remix

Just days after it was leaked on Friday, Britney Spears and her femme fatales, Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha, dropped their official remix of "Till the World Ends."
The new version of the song was produced by Dr. Luke and Dream Machine. Brit half-whispers " 'Till the World Ends' remix" before the beat kicks in and Nicki hits her verse hard. She spits fierce lines like, "Sniff, sniff, cries/ I done slayed your whole entire f---ing life."
Then Britney's sex-kitten vocals kick in for the song's first verse. "That's Britney, bitch! I'm Nicki Minaj and that's Ke$ha," the Queens MC declares before K sings the chorus. The beat is harder, the loops are sassier and the song is grimier than the original version, which was the second single from Femme Fatale. The newly added dubstep portion takes the one from "Hold It Against Me" to a new level by adding in bass-heavy synths.
Ke$ha, of course, wrote the track for Britney, and the ladies certainly don't seem to mind sharing the spotlight with each other. The official track isn't much different than the version that leaked over the weekend, though Spears did have something brand-new to share with her fans just as the song dropped on iTunes and streamed on her website.
Spears tweeted the artwork for the single, which features the original press photo of Spears along with separate photos of Nicki on the left and Ke$ha on the right. Spears wrote, "@NickiMinaj @Keshasuxx Too much fierceness for one cover! Thanks for lending your voices girls... #TTWEREMIX — Brit"
Spears and Minaj have been hanging out a lot in the lead-up to their summer tour. They hung out at the Factory nightclub on Friday night after Minaj's show in Los Angeles. Spears later wrote, "Early rehearsal after a late night with my girl @NickiMinaj. Can't WAIT to get out on the road with you."

In MTV's upcoming 'Lady Gaga: Inside the Outside' special, Gaga reveals that the band's Dookie was the first album she ever bought.
By Jocelyn Vena
Lady Gaga's songs certainly sound like they take inspiration from all forms of music, including disco, pop, industrial, metal and even punk. In an hour-long exclusive interview, "Lady Gaga: Inside the Outside," set to air Thursday, May 26, at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET/PT on MTV, the pop superstar opens up about the music she listened to in her youth, and how it helped shape her and make her the artist she is today.
"It was Green Day, Dookie, with my own money," she recalls in the special when asked about the first album she ever bought. "But my parents got me Stevie Wonder, Signed, Sealed [and] Delivered, and the Beatles when I was younger — A Hard Day's Night. Yeah, they were two CDs and they were given to me with [a] little boom box for Christmas when I was young."
She continues, "Just good choices, Mom and Dad. They could have chose anything, but Stevie Wonder and the Beatles? I mean, it's totally their fault. Don't spoon feed me the Beatles and Stevie Wonder and Bruce Springsteen and Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin and Elton John and expect for me not to turn out this way. Nobody made you do that."
During the intimate chat, Mother Monster opens up about her rise to fame — from being bullied by classmates during her school days to the moment she decided to pursue her dream of pop stardom. She speaks in depth about the moments that shaped her as an artist, including working on her highly anticipated just-released album, Born This Way.
"Lady Gaga: Inside the Outside" also focuses on the pop superstar at home, spotlighting her close relationship with her family and her life growing up in Manhattan before she made the decision to move out on her own to New York City's Lower East Side. Fans will get to intimately know the girl that became Lady Gaga.

Lady Gaga Fans Weigh In On Born This Way
Does her new album go too far? Her fans — and critics — sound off!
By James Montgomery
Lady Gaga
Photo: Kevin Mazur/WireImage
The wait is finally over. By now, you've no doubt heard Lady Gaga's much-anticipated Born This Way album (via means either legal or, uh, not) and you've probably formed an opinion about its 14 darkly sumptuous tracks. It's clear that, on the record, Gaga is going for something big, pushing her sound into bold new territories — territories that apparently include plenty of white-hot sax solos. But has she strayed too far from the things that made her an international sensation?
We certainly have our thoughts on the matter, but we're interested in hearing what her fans have to say about Born This Way's brash, unapologetic reinvention of pop. Not surprisingly, the conversation on MTV.com was pretty animated, and so we decided to single out some of the best comments from our readers and re-publish them below. Here's your take on Lady Gaga's latest ... and if you haven't weighed in yet, you can do so in the comments section below. On to the debate!
"The album is an assorted compilation because it reflects her eclectic tastes and influences, which at the same time allows her to showcase her versatility ... it reflects her multifaceted artistry. The album is totally Gaga, and she's completely staying true to herself. ... [It's] a self-exploring journey, both artistic- and personality-wise that I'm sure her fans will join and embrace unreservedly." — MyArena
"I like [her] hits like 'Poker Face,' 'Bad Romance,' 'Paparazzi,' but despite the fact that the The Fame wasn't a good debut album critically, [it's] better than this crap I just heard. All the songs sound the same, no originality ... all the sounds are played in the same key. 'Born This Way,' 'Judas,' 'Hair,' 'Americano,' are complete throwaways. ... I was expecting big things but ... after hearing 'Born this Way,' I knew this album wouldn't live up to the hype. This is not even the album of the year. Adele's 21 [and] Britney Spears' Femme Fatale are far ahead of this album." — Kennethngbor
"This album is beyond awesome. I'm sorry if she isn't like all the other pop stars ... [and] no originality? She goes from pop to techno to Mexican to blues to rock to gothic and you think they all sound the same?" — Adham
"[I'm] sooooooooo happy with it. I have to say I was worried, but it's great." — Jamarious
"This album is beyond epic. Completely shocking and different; it's so Gaga, but it so isn't at the same time. Bow down to the QUEEN OF POP!" — The1andonlyJOLE
"Why is nobody saying that 'Born this Way' sounds so much like Madonna that it is hard to believe there isn't a lawsuit. The Gaga song is a complete rip-off." — Mike
"Lady Gaga is going to take music to the next level [and] I will be right by her side when she does. This gal is a genius." — Ray
"One thing you people need to understand is that it doesn't matter if her old fans like it or not. Get over yourselves. I love seeing new material and different lyrical melodies from her. This isn't the The Fame/Fame Monster 2.0. I don't want to be listening to that stuff over and over with every album. People need to get over [her] past music ... if she did that all her life, people would get bored. She's building a lasting career, not something people forget about years later. Guess what? She doesn't care if some of her old fans don't like her new music. ... She is smart enough that this new music will appeal to a different audience and it will always fill in the gap of those past fans that don't like the new music. In other words, a guaranteed long career." — Bob

Lady Gaga's 'Bloody Mary' 'Is Bold,' Born This Way Producer Says
'It's a beautiful song,' Fernando Garibay tells MTV News about the new Gaga track.
By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Kara Warner
Lady Gaga has mixed up a "Bloody Mary" for her fans on Born This Way, which was released on Monday (May 23). The song sits at #8 on the album's track list, sandwiched between "Scheiße" and "Bad Kids."
The track is a dark, electro-pop tune about religion and art, putting into context a relationship Gaga is in where she plays the part of Bloody Mary, a character based in both urban legend (a ghostly figure that might appear if you say her name three times while looking into a mirror) and history (England's Queen Mary I, who burned religious radicals at the stake during the Marian Persecutions).
Born This Way musical producer Fernando Garibay recently chatted with MTV News about how Lady Gaga and her team recorded "Bloody Mary" while in his Los Angeles recording studio, where Mother Monster put the finishing touches on many of the album's tracks. According to Garibay, the synthy tune infused with lyrics in French was developed from a track that was put together by Born This Way co-producer DJ White Shadow.
"Another super cool record. This is another one that started on a White Shadow track," he recalled. "I remember [Gaga] played this to me in Australia and we sat down and ... opened up the track and she started singing [the melody and lyrics] to it."
From there, he, Gaga and White Shadow put their stamp on the song. "We came back and added a few more parts to it and facilitated with the production of the record," he explained. "Again, it stayed pretty much intact as the original demo. It's a beautiful song. It's very personal to her. It's pretty bold."
Have you heard "Bloody Mary," and if so, what do you think of the tune? Tell us in the comments.

Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian Talk Drama
From giving birth to getting waxed, the Kardashian sisters have pretty much bared it all for the cameras. For the past five years, Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian have shared their lives -- the good, the bad and the hilarious -- with the world on their multiple reality shows. In fact, Khloe (whose new E! show Khloe & Lamar delves into her life as a newlywed with NBA star Lamar Odom) admits she'd do pretty much anything on camera -- except have sex!
iVillage caught up with Kourtney, 32, and Khloe, 26, at the John Frieda mobile hair salon in New York City's Times Square recently to dish about their most embarrassing onscreen moments, their beauty secrets and why Khloe and Lamar's relationship is sometimes too cute. (Just ask Rihanna!)
You're both pretty open on your reality shows. Is there anything you won’t do on camera?
Khloe: Just me having sex. That’s pretty much it. Everything else pretty much goes! I mean, we’ve done it for so long and our shows are pure reality. We give you 7 days a week -- minimum of 12, max of 18 hours a day -- for three to four months at a time. There’s not much room to hold anything back.
So, there's no scripted drama?
Khloe: We’re brothers and sisters and family, and we live together so there’s no need for all that. There's already so much drama happening between us as a family.
Are you ever embarrassed after watching the show?
Kourtney: Not really. It’s just weird when I meet people, and I forget that they’ve seen so much of my life. They’ve seen me give birth and they’ve seen me crying and they’ve seen me fighting with this person or that person. I just meet people as if they don’t know anything about me, and it’s just weird if I think of that.
Khloe: (The most embarrassing thing I've done on camera was) probably my (bikini) waxing -- when Kourtney waxed me. Like, why the hell would you do that on camera?
Kourt: Because it’s fun!
Khloe: But I never sit and think "X amount of viewers are watching the show." When you’re filming it’s not a big deal, but when you’re watching you’re like, "Oh my god, I can’t believe that many people are going to watch me get a bikini wax."
Khloe, you and Lamar are so cute on your show. What did you think when your pal Rihanna jokingly tweeted that you guys make her want to barf?
Kourtney: She did?
Khloe: Yeah, I think she tweeted, "You guys really make me want to barf." And she went on Ryan Seacrest and they talked about it. She was like, "They’re just too freaking cute that I hate them."
Kourtney, do you ever feel that way when you’re around them?
Kourtney: No, I feel like I literally have seen Lamar for maybe ten minutes of my life. Whenever I see Khloe she’s alone.
Khloe: It’s because he’s always in season and Kourtney never goes to a game because she won’t bring (her 1-year-old son) Mason.
Kourtney: We’ve talked on the phone more than we’ve seen each other.
Khloe, is it ever hard for you and Lamar to have alone time with Rob living in your house?
Khloe: It used to definitely be. We were newly married and Rob just moved in, and he had no boundaries. But now Robert really gets it. But Jamie, Lamar’s best friend (who appears on Khloe & Lamar), is more annoying than anything. I’m like "Oh my God, get a f**king life … boundaries! You’re 32 years old. How do you not know to get away from me?" He annoys me more than Rob right now. Robert is 24 but he gets it. He’s learned that we need our quiet time. Jamie is like a leech; he just sits there and sucks on our skin.
You two are here for the John Frieda Salon Tour to show your fans how you get your hair looking so great. So, which of the sisters takes the longest to get ready?
Kourtney: It’s Kim. I’m the shortest. When I start adding up the amount of time it takes to get ready -- and then I times it by seven and then I times it by 52 -- it freaks me out. I just have a crazy mental problem, and I’m like “You have to live your life. You can’t just sit and get your hair and makeup done!" And with Mason, too, I just like easy hair and makeup.
Khloe: Kim is a perfectionist, so when she gets her hair done she needs every piece and strand to be perfect. But she loves it. I get annoyed sitting there and I get antsy, but I take longer than Kourt. Kourt will be like "Thirty minutes, that’s all you have. Figure it out." And she’ll really leave. If they’re not finished, she’ll be like "I’m done!"
Have you picked up tips to do your hair faster?
Kourtney: When I’m just by myself and I’m not doing anything I just take a shower, brush my hair, and let it dry. But if I’m trying to do it, I try and slick it up into a bun. And then John Frieda actually has this wand, Full Repair Flyaway Tamer, and it’s to help get your little extra pieces that maybe didn’t get into your hair. That's so helpful for me.
You're both really into hair and fashion. Would you rather shave your head or give up your whole wardrobe?
Kourtney: I would say give up my wardrobe.
Khloe: Shave my head. I could wear a wig!

Lady Gaga Sports Pregnant Belly On 'Saturday Night Live'
Star performs with fake baby bump on Justin Timberlake-hosted season finale.

Lady Gaga performs on "Saturday Night Live"

As "Saturday Night Live" wrapped up its 36th season, the show let the evening's megastar guests, Lady Gaga and Justin Timberlake, take the reins; a move which meant a revisit of some of JT's classic "SNL" gags and a live television moment only Mother Monster could deliver.
JT started the show insisting that he wouldn't be singing during his latest appearance, only to segue into a ditty during which he busted out his signature falsetto, serenaded a blushing audience member and brought it on home with some soulful trills.
But JT didn't stay on the anti-singing kick for long, popping up in the first sketch as an overeager street marketer in a beer-bottle costume armed with booze-friendly versions of pop hits. Going up against side-eyes from a prudish, tea-shilling Kristen Wiig, Timberlake countered with pro-imbibing jams like a revamp of DJ Khaled's "All I Do Is Win." Lady Gaga got in on the action, too, tottering on set in a snug vine-swathed frock with goblet-shaped glove thingys to join Timberlake for reboot of B.o.B and Hayley Williams' smash "Airplanes," crooning, "I could really use a drink right now." The pair then belted "too much merlot" to Flo Rida's "Low" before switching up the easy-listening staple "Endless Love" to "Endless Buzz," with lines like, "No one can deny/ This hooch I have inside."
Gaga also showed off her comedic skills in a digital short alongside Timberlake and Andy Samberg. After getting some sugar from mature vixens Patricia Clarkson and Susan Sarandon, JT and Samberg hit the streets in Color Me Badd fresh jumpsuits and leather bombers only to both show up at Gaga's door clutching Alize and Bartles & Jaymes. Looking in gold hoops and a gaudy getup, the pop supernova welcomed them in for an ode to the ménage a trois. "You're my best friend through thick and thin and now it's time to make a triple connection," the crew belted. "It's OK when it's in a three-way. It's not gay when it's in a three-way!"
Gaga's first onstage performance began with a much more subdued tone. Banging away on a striped grand piano with a silvery crescent-shaped headdress, the songstress showed off her fiery vocals with an impassioned rendition of "Edge of Glory." Then Mother Monster ditched the intimate vibe -- and the headpiece -- for a club-ready performance of her speaker-rattling single "Judas." Dancers in dark kilts and strappy, belted bodices backed up Gaga, who coordinated her two-toned locks, shiny black body suit and thigh-high boots with the striped stage. After flexing some of the video's high-energy choreography, Gaga retreated to a ladder on the side of the set for a bit before launching back into the punchy moves.
JT and Gaga kept cranking out the laughs as the songstress owned Timberlake in a celebrity edition of "What's That Name?" While Timberlake handily identified animated '90s Paula Abdul collaborator MC Skat Kat, the singer/actor blanked on the name of a bubbly hook-up from two weeks ago, and even struck out on Taran Killiam as Timberlake's fellow 'NSYNC member Chris Kirkpatrick. Grinning in a latex blazer and bra, Gaga easily remembered a fan she met in passing, schooled JT on the purpose of his charity and rattled off names of the stage crew and audience.
Timberlake put his growing acting skills to work in every sketch, creeping out Jason Sudeikis as a handsy member of a robotic barbershop trio on a hokey carnival ride, sparring with Bill Hader's decrepit local news correspondent and continuously flubbing the retro "Secret Word" game as a campy magician peddling crusty tricks.
For her last onstage trick, Gaga revisited the futuristic birth theme of her February Grammy performance of "Born This Way," revving up the performance with some S&M touches. Once again, the superstar emerged from an egg-shaped structure, this time however the vessel was adorned with caviar-like lumps. Gaga hit the stage in a cropped latex top with voluminous shoulders and second-skin leggings as fog encircled the singer and her crew. Swapping out the flesh-tone tunics from the Grammy performance for shiny belly-baring tops and slashed culottes, the dancers rocked the choreography as Gaga whipped her blonde ponytail around. Enveloped by her dancers for an onstage costume change, Mother Monster ramped up the drama by getting outfitted with a prosthetic latex-covered pregnancy belly. Gaga vamped it up in the fake baby bump as her crew hoisted her onto a throne and caressed her body, and glitter rained onto the pop diva.
The show closed with a cameo appearance from "SNL" alum and late-night host Jimmy Fallon for the "Barry Gibb Talk Show." Timberlake reprised his role as apathetic sidekick Robin Gibb to Fallon's jumpy, karate-chopping Barry as he grilled guests about the U.S. debt. JT stayed largely mum as Fallon continued to wig out, only piping up to briefly harmonize, "We suckled at the same teat!" Yet Timberlake was quick to revive Fallon when he froze during a signature freak-out. When the comedian came to, Fallon exclaimed, "I survived the Rapture!"
What did you think of "SNL" this week? Let us know in the comments!

Michael Jackson Estate Rakes In $310 Million To Date

Between album sales, movie profits, licensing arrangements and lucrative deals for Cirque du Soleil shows, the estate of late King of Pop Michael Jackson has raked in more than $300 million since the singer's shocking death in June 2009.
According to TMZ, legal documents released on Thursday reveal that executors of MJ's estate have managed to make a major dent in the more than $400 million in debt that Jackson owed at the time of his death.
The first accounting from the executors shows that they have already spent around $159 million paying back various debts, income taxes and other expenses, which include providing support for the pop star's mother, Katherine Jackson, as well as his three young children.
"Although there remain unresolved creditor claims, pending litigation and additional challenging business, tax and legal issues, and the estate is not yet in a condition to be closed, the executors have made substantial progress in reducing the estate's debt," the documents state, according to a Reuters report. Two of Jackson's longtime confidants, attorney John Branca and music executive John McClain, were named as administrators in a will sign by the pop icon.
In addition to paying to make "substantial improvements" to the Jackson family's Havenhurst estate in Encino, California, the executors also spent an undetermined amount of money on "last illness and funeral and memorial service expenses." Those costs included a $900,000 payment to the Forest Lawn Memorial cemetery where Jackson is buried and $35,000 on expenses described as "costume for memorial."
TMZ reported that not only did the famously cash-strapped Jackson have more than $400 million in debt, but his estate also owed more than $40 million to concert promoter AEG tied to the scuttled This Is It Tour, for which MJ was rehearsing when he died unexpectedly. They've also paid $27.2 million in taxes and $4 million in mortgage payments on Jackson's properties.
Despite the solid sales of the Michael album and millions of units of the singer's back catalog being sold, as well as the box office of the "This Is It" movie and DVD sales, the estate is not nearly out of the woods. TMZ noted that the administrators have received more than 65 creditors' claims, some of which are subject to "extremely high" interest rates, and there are several outstanding lawsuits against the estate in several countries.

Eminem Says He Has Acting Gigs 'In The Works'
Film projects have to be 'dope enough' to make him want to put down the mic, rapper tells MTV's 'RapFix Live.'
By Alvin Blanco
If Eminem is going to leave the studio for an acting gig, it better be a winner. When Eminem appeared on MTV's "RapFix Live", the elusive Detroit rapper revealed that there are film roles he is currently considering. In the "Pass the Mic" portion of the show, Havoc of Mobb Deep asked the Shady Records founder, "When's your next movie?"
"There are some things in the [works], a couple of scripts," Eminem answered. "I guess it's more so of just waiting now to see how they come together. Obviously it's gotta be something that I feel is dope enough to make me want to say, 'OK, let me put the mic down for a second and go do this movie.' There are some things that are in the works. I guess we'll just see how they come together."
According to Em, rapping and acting have some things in common. "I think Ice Cube said this one time, that if you can rap and you can perform to the camera for singing and things like that in videos, it should be a fairly natural transition," Em said. "I know that everybody can't do it, it's not for everybody. But I did hear him say a lot of times it should be easy because they kind of coincide. You're used to doing that."
Since getting raves for his portrayal of Jimmy "B-Rabbit" Smith in "8 Mile," a movie loosely based on his own life, Em's acting résumé has been rather limited. He's only made cameos in HBO's "Entourage" and the film "Funny People" since. It appears that besides the fact that he's been focusing on his music, Em's respect for the acting craft is part of the reason he hasn't completely jumped into Hollywood.
"Making that transition I felt like, 'Oh, this might be fairly easy,' and it wasn't," Em said. "It's a whole different thing because you may be used to performing to the camera and you may be used to doing certain things in videos and things like that, but it's a whole different ballgame when the music is off and you have lines that you need to say. Remembering the lines and trying to be natural and what am I going to do when I say this line, it's different. It takes a minute to get used to."

Johnny Depp And Penelope Cruz Have 'Great Chemistry,' Says 'Pirates' Producer
'You can't spar with Johnny unless you're brilliant,' Jerry Bruckheimer says.

Over the course of three "Pirates of the Caribbean" films, Johnny Depp's swashbuckling hero, Jack Sparrow, has experienced some flirtatious moments with seafaring ladies played by Keira Knightley and Zoe Saldana. But nothing ever came of those encounters, and as Depp himself told us, the latest film in the series, "On Stranger Tides," won't have Jack falling in love because that would leave the pirate "completely catatonic and unable to speak."
That's not a very fun way to spend two hours at the cinema, is it? Nonetheless, the new movie has Sparrow experiencing his most amorous encounters yet as he reunites with Penélope Cruz's Angelica, a former flame for whom, Jack embarrassingly confesses in the film, he once had "stirrings."
Cruz actually shot the film while pregnant, but as producer Jerry Bruckheimer explained, that never got in the way of their work. "She worked so hard, you never knew she was pregnant because her energy level was great, her performance was great and there is such great chemistry between Johnny and Penélope," he said. "They actually really do like each other. They worked together 10 years ago [on 'Blow']. You see that chemistry onscreen."
Indeed, from the very first time they share a scene, the duo is either sword fighting or flirting or screaming or embracing — each word or movement cut through with the simmering need to, well, jump each other's bones. Not that such a thing ever happens in this Disney-backed affair, but it's certainly fun to watch them squirm.
"You need someone like Penélope, who's an Academy Award winner, to go up against Johnny Depp, because if they're not as good as she is, you can see it right away," Bruckheimer said of introducing her character to the franchise. "You can't spar with Johnny unless you're brilliant."

Sarah Ferguson Talks Motherhood and the Royal Wedding
Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, a.k.a. Fergie, has been surrounded by scandal for the past 20 years, but through it all, she says she did the most important thing right: raising her children well.
"The only thing I know I've done 100 percent right is be a good mother. I'm proud to say I'm the best mom I know," says Ferguson, who has two grown daughters with ex-husband Prince Andrew. "People say to me, 'What is your brand identity?' And I say, 'I'm a global mother.'"
In an interview with Harper's Bazaar, Ferguson admits she was sad to be left off the guest list for the recent royal wedding, but says she's proud to have been represented by her children, princesses Beatrice, 22, and Eugenie, 21.
"They're a part of the royal family and they're a tremendous credit to me," says Ferguson of her daughters, who are both attending college in the U.K. "I understand that (Kate and William) didn't invite me. I'm divorced from Prince Andrew. I think it's a new chapter and a fresh page."
While Prince William is making a new start with his bride Kate Middleton, Ferguson is making a clean start on reality TV. Her new show Finding Sarah, on Oprah Winfrey's OWN network, pairs the former Weight Watchers spokeswoman with Oprah's favorite self-help experts to help her get her life back on track. She says the show has helped her to confront her painful past with the royal family, even as William and Kate's wedding has brought back "huge memories."
"I look at it and think, I was once that bride. It's very sad," admits Ferguson. "You're happy for them, of course, but it's sad because you'd love to do it all over again, but with the awareness that you have now."
Since becoming a celebrity, Ferguson has been at the center of two major tabloid stories: her 1992 separation from Prince Andrew (precipitated by naughty paparazzi photos of Fergie with another man), and the 2010 News of the World video in which Ferguson allegedly tried to sell access to Prince Andrew. Though she once told Oprah that her 2010 behavior was a result of drinking and desperation, Ferguson now says that she was set up.
"I didn't do that, selling access," she claims. "(The fake businessman) said he wanted to start a business with me, and I said, 'If you're going to invest in my business, with that comes my family, because we're all a team together.' But the way it came across in the video, it was so horrible, because they cut it and edited it and changed it, chopped it."
Even so, Ferguson has learned to be grateful for the things she has. "I have a very lucky life," she says. "I'm able to travel. I have great friends who have been very generous. I've got a wonderful family. Andrew and the girls are really the most extraordinary people you'll ever meet."
